Principle
This website is a purely informational page. It processes personal data only to the extent required to deliver the page technically.
The following are expressly not used:
- Cookies requiring consent
- Google Analytics or any other web analytics service
- Google Fonts or any web font loaded from a third-party server
- Google Maps or any other embedded map service
- Social media plugins, like buttons or tracking pixels
- Contact or sign-up forms
Your browser's local storage holds only settings you make yourself: your choice in the "Cookie settings" (key "cookie-consent") and, only if you change the display through the "Accessibility" button, that display setting (key "a11y-prefs-v1"); "Reset" deletes it again. These values never leave your browser and are strictly necessary for a function you expressly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting and server log files
When you open this website, your browser transmits data that is processed for technical reasons: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, referrer, browser type and operating system. This data is required to deliver the page and to defend against abusive access.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website.
Processors: the servers are located in a data centre operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
Cloudflare. This website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes the technically necessary connection data (including IP address, requested address, time and browser identifier) to deliver the page quickly and to defend against attacks and automated access. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); Cloudflare acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the United States is possible; Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR), and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
Transfers to the United States
The controller is established in the United States. If you contact us by email or telephone, the data you send is also processed there. For the transfer of access data via Cloudflare, see the section above.
Contacting us by email or telephone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention period applies.
Mailboxes: the mailboxes for linemarkt.de and linemarkt.com are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. A copy of incoming email is forwarded to and received in a mailbox at Google (Gmail); for users in the EEA the provider is Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, affiliated with Google LLC, USA. A transfer to the United States is possible; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
Retention
Server log files are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days, unless they are needed to investigate a specific case of misuse. Email correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
An informal message to info@linemarkt.com is enough to exercise any of these rights.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
Changes
We update this policy whenever the website or the legal framework changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
